Nasal Wings

Asymmetrical nasal wings

This young woman was born prematurely. She had to have a tube fitted to her right nostril so she could be fed when she was a baby. This tube was probably too large for the small baby, which is why her right nostril narrowed as a result of scar tissue as she grew. The unattractively narrowed right nostril is noticeable in aesthetic terms and almost completely obstructed the patient's ability to breathe through the right side of her nose. The Before and After pictures were taken 4 years apart.

BeforeAfter

In a complicated operation, I widened the right nostril and reduced the crookedness of the nose as much as possible. I raised the nasal tip, straightened the nose and narrowed it. As a result, I succeeding in greatly improving the patient's ability to breathe through her right nostril.

After the nose operation, the young woman's facial features became slender and more harmonious. She can breathe freely now.

Uneven nostrils

The smallest of difference in the shape of both nostrils is very noticeable to onlookers. This woman had injured her nose. As a result, her left nostril was pulled upwards.

BeforeAfter

I adjusted the shape of the nasal wings with natural tissue so they matched each other. The nose immediately looked symmetrical and balanced.

Uneven nasal wings

After an aesthetic operation, carried out by another surgeon, the patient felt uncomfortable with the results. She was unhappy with her irregular nostrils and raised left nasal wing.

BeforeAfter

During the operation, I was able to realign the nasal wings with tissue from the patient's own body. The irregularities in the area of the nasal pyramid and the nasal columella remained untouched at the wish of the patient. The After pictures were taken a year after the reparative operation.

Raised nasal wings

A common consequence of incorrectly performed nose operations are raised nasal wings. These nasal wings are reminiscent of the shape of a bird's beak.

BeforeAfter

Another surgeon performed a nose operation on this woman. The female client was very dissatisfied with the new shape of her nose. During the operation, I was able to bring the nasal wings back into their natural position by using tissue from the patient's own body.
