Procedure

To plan your nasal operation exactly, we will need at least 2 consultation appointments.

Initial consultation

You will formulate your own wishes in the initial consultation. You can also bring photographs with you. Together, we will discuss the problematic issues of your nose and face.

I will examine the external shape of your nose and your internal nasal structure with a special optical system.

We will create a three-dimensional facial photograph of you and will simulate a possible three-dimensional surgical objective together. I will explain to you the efforts and risks involved in nasal operation with the aid of anatomical sketches.

This consultation generally lasts one hour and will cost 300 Swiss Francs. This amount will count towards the fee for a potential nasal operation.

Second consultation

In the second consultation we will create additional two-dimensional facial images of you. We will discuss the computer simulation once again and supplement the surgical consultation. This consultation will also last approximately 1 hour and will also cost 300 Swiss Francs. This amount will also count towards the fee for a potential nasal operation.

After the first and second consultation, you can calmly consider whether you want to decide to have a nasal operation.

Further consultations

If any ambiguities or uncertainties should still persist, we will arrange further consultation appointments. These consultations will also cost 300 Swiss Francs. Likewise, these amounts will count towards the nasal operation fees.

As many patients come from other countries, we also offer the initial consultation via Skype or Facetime.

Health insurance company

If a nasal respiration obstruction is due to an anatomical constriction in the nasal passage, we will submit a request to your health insurance company, asking them to cover the costs of the corresponding part of the operation. Unfortunately, this is not possible with patients from other countries.

Price agreement

We will agree on the price for the operation, anaesthetic and preliminary, as well as follow-up examinations prior to the operation. You will therefore know the total costs you will face prior to the operation.
